The recent emphasis on promoting the mental health of pupils is welcome but what about schools’ greatest asset; their staff? Teaching is tough. This course will help you reflect on what you can do to look after yourself and those around you. You will gain an understanding of stressors and how they can impact on performance. You will identify ways to limit the impact of stress and to build resilience including help-seeking and help-giving. We will also explore factors that schools should be considering in order to enable staff to thrive.
