Rachel Clarke shares techniques and approaches to bring writing in KS1 and KS2 alive. With children’s literature at the core of this course, participants should expect to plan, draft and write their own texts based on those they have read. During this course, Rachel explores different story structures and non-fiction for different purposes and audiences.

Course Outcomes:
• Extend understanding of narrative structure to include a range of models for creative writing
• Use children’s literature as models for creative writing
• Undertake writing activities that can be replicated in the classroom
