This Support Staff professional development group is open to all Support Staff. The three termly sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to hear great speakers, meet and talk with others and share good practice. The focus for this session is:
Effective teaching of EAL learners

This practical and interactive session will :
• broaden delegates understanding of EAL pedagogy - the way pupils with EAL learn
• identify key challenges faced by pupils with EAL
• explore some practical and inclusive strategies/resources to support all pupils with English as an additional language for successful learning outcomes.
• provide guidance to support pupils with EAL
