This Support Staff professional development group is open to all Support Staff. The three termly sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to hear great speakers, meet and talk with others and share good practice. The focus for this session will be:

Mental wealth for Support Staff

Working with young people is not for the faint hearted – and working in a school can be exhausting! As support staff there often isn’t even time for a cup of tea (or a wee!) – and sometimes people forget to say thank you. This course is designed to inspire and invigorate you – but more importantly – it is a reminder of how important you are. You impact on children’s learning, the climate in the classroom and help to reduce the stress of the teachers. You make a difference. In fact, you’re a life changer.
