Part One (Helen Jones - School Improvement Adviser and Consultant)

NQT+1 next steps:

In this session, Helen will share with you what constitutes high quality teaching and learning from an Ofsted point of view. She will then move onto your responsibilities for keeping children safe. Finally, she will discuss with you how you might prepare for taking on subject responsibilities in your second year of teaching, especially with regard to the centrality of the curriculum in Ofsted inspections. She will share with you some killer questions which will be useful as you think about next year and leadership. There will be opportunities for reflection and action planning.

Part Two (Martyn Skinner - Chief Executive Officer ASPIRE Multi-Academy Trust)

Second Year Survival Guide:

This session will provide opportunities to take stock of where you are right now and where you want to be.
