There is also an option to complete an official qualification as part of this training at an additional cost of £69.20.

This session is subject to our cancellation scale:

28 days or more notice - no charge

11-27 days notice - 25% of total cost of the course

4-10 days or less notice - 50% of total cost of the course

3 days or less notice -100% cost of the course.

A practical training course for staff working in primary schools to enable them to develop the speech and language skills of ALL children but especially those with speech and language difficulties. The course gives practical advice and strategies which are also suitable for children with English as an additional language and other special educational needs.

Over 7,000 people have already completed this training and found it has helped them to differentiate the curriculum more effectively.

There is an option for those completing this course to attempt a level 3 or level 2 nine credit Award in Knowledge and Practice to Support the Communication Skills of 5-11s – both levels are on the QCF. A portfolio of evidence will need to be submitted.
