- The course will aid delegates in understanding and provide ideas for enhancing and developing children’s characteristics of effective teaching and learning in the outdoors.
- Delegates will consider what resources need to be provided for their children outdoors and how this differs to their indoor provision.
- The role of the adult as a partner in the children’s learning outside.
- Everyone will take away ideas to utilise in their own setting.
We will explore ideas and principles which will help to shape what is being provided outside and how these are meeting the requirements within the new reforms. When I reference outdoor learning, I will be considering the why this, why now within the activities provided outdoors.
