This training focuses on how to teach reading to learners with SEND, using knowledge of the science of reading to create an inclusive literacy curriculum that everyone can access. The questions are posed and practical strategies provided. Why should we do it? What should we be teaching? And how do we make it relevant for all learners? How do we provide a reading curriculum that is rooted in high expectations, promotes engagement and provides rich literacy experiences, opportunities and environments?
