This course has been designed to ensure that leads are able to implement their responsibilities in safeguarding children from harm, in line with Government and Local Safeguarding Children Board protocols. Suitable for those who have completed Basic Safeguarding training. This course complies with the Milton Keynes Competency Framework.
This course is for anyone working with children and young people who are designated safeguarding leads for their setting. To attend this training, it is essential that delegates have up to date Basic Safeguarding Training as this is not covered during the DSL course. This course has a brief recap, followed by the processes and procedures of reporting (as set out in the Milton Keynes Competency Framework - Level 3)
