This session will provide ideas which aid progression of knowledge and skills across the year considering direct teaching opportunities and ideas to support Mathematical learning within the continuous provision.
Delivering ideas to help develop a strong grounding in number providing the necessary building blocks to continue their mathematical skills.
Ideas to support staff working towards the Mathematical educational programme giving suggestions to aid children in being able to count confidently, develop a deep understanding of number, the relationships between them and the patterns within those numbers. Discussing opportunities for children to develop their spatial reasoning skills across shape, space and measures.
