What is Adaptive Teaching and how do you ensure it happens in your classroom?

On this course we unpick what is meant by Adaptive Teaching and provide colleagues with practical approaches to help them adapt their teaching so that all pupils thrive. Taking in all aspects of primary English, this course will help attendees design inclusive lessons for reading and writing. The ideas provided should also support attendees in extending their understanding of Adaptive Teaching to other areas of the curriculum too.

This course is suitable for teachers in KS1 and KS2.

Course Outcomes:
• Establish what is meant by Adaptive Teaching and why it needs to happen.
• Explore ways of adapting teaching in English so that it is manageable and ensures that all pupils thrive.
• Equip attendees with practical approaches and ‘take aways’ to support them in adapting their English teaching.
