How Multisensory Learning Can Help All Learners to Read, Write, and Spell" explores the benefits of engaging multiple senses in the learning process, particularly for literacy skills. This approach acknowledges that learners have diverse learning styles and preferences, and by incorporating visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, and tactile elements, educators can cater to a wider range of needs. This session will delve into multisensory techniques including an in depth focus on the Alpha to Omega read, writing and spelling programme which has a high success rate for students with additional learning needs. Using multi-sensory techniques will lead to improved reading fluency, writing proficiency, and spelling accuracy for all students, including those with learning differences. There will be time for Q and A at the end of the session.
Delegates can attend some or all of the sessions.
