Lois Beshiri, previously worked with the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) as a Primary Lead and PDL. As a result of the offer from computing hub moving solely online PEP:mk are now able to offer a mixture of face to face and online sessions.

This course is designed to enhance educators' confidence in utilising Scratch and ScratchJr programming environments. Participants will learn to set up software and accounts effectively, delve into non-programming features such as graphics and sound, and grasp fundamental programming concepts, including sequence, events, and initialisation. Emphasis is placed on repetition and selection through various loops and conditions. Educators will also explore variables, gaining hands-on experience in their creation and manipulation to foster interactivity in game development. Ultimately, the course aims to equip teachers with pedagogical strategies for facilitating engaging programming projects in their classrooms.
