Lois Beshiri, previously worked with the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) as a Primary Lead and PDL. As a result of the offer from computing hub moving solely online PEP:mk are now able to offer a mixture of face to face and online sessions.

This introductory course offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and confidence in using the micro:bit. Designed for educators, the course will explore effective pedagogical approaches and lesson activities that leverage the micro:bit's capabilities within the classroom. Participants will engage in practical exercises and discussions, culminating in the development of a personalised implementation plan for integrating the micro:bit into their own teaching practice. By the end of the course, educators will be equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to enhance their students’ learning experiences through innovative micro:bit applications.
