Lois Beshiri, previously worked with the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) as a Primary Lead and PDL. As a result of the offer from computing hub moving solely online PEP:mk are now able to offer a mixture of face to face and online sessions.
‘Switch on, sit back and learn’ this session will focus on one small area of learning and will enable delegates will take away strategies/information that they can put into action immediately.
The focus of this one hour, lecture style remote session is to explore the integration of computing within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We will discuss effective strategies for fostering children's digital literacy and computational thinking, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Participants will gain insights into age-appropriate activities and resources that promote essential computing skills.
