On this course, Rachel Clarke provides teachers with a broader understanding of the range of skills involved in inference. Rachel shares practical approaches and activities that enable children to infer meaning so that they can open-up the lines of text and find the hidden answers.

Course Outcomes:
• Consider what is meant by inference
• Explore how inference is tested in the KS1 & KS2 reading SATs
• Participate in reading comprehension activities
