As an ex-TA and a classroom teacher, I know that there’s a fine balance to achieve between doing what’s right for the child(ren), and supporting the classroom teacher! I have supported teachers where the task is easy because the approach to behaviour is identical for both; I’ve also worked in support of teachers who create issues with their behaviour! We will take this delicate issue and give it a bit of a shake up; the aim being to equip you to negotiate any minefield a little easier.
